Mess on Washington Street

Poor road conditions in Hoboken create hazardous situation

Like we told you a couple weeks ago – the entire length of Washington Street is a War Zone of potholes and kidney-jarring bumps. It should be a top priority for the city to fix before all other “amenities” in town.

Shortly after 5pm this evening, a pickup truck traveling north on the main avenue was jostled so bad crossing 10th Street – that it caused a giant glass piece to pop out and come crashing down, with shards of nasty debris all over the place.

I can only imagine when the toxic waste truck comes through town…

She is a lousy mayor- no argument.
I look forward to new candidates next election (hopefully no election lawyers).
But there has been pot holes in Hoboken since the dawn of asphalt. Please.
Look around town. We have had a lot of re-paving of many city streets in the last 3-5 years. Not sure why Washington hasn’t been one of those streets (as my comments on here previously stated- its what visitors see and needs the attention). But once again someone has an unhealthy obsession with our mayor- seems like some want to blame the mayor for the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. Will we see this vitriol in 2 years when taxes still stink, city employees get more raises for treating the taxpayers (their bosses) like crap, and we still have pot holes?

this mayor is got to be the most unqualified city official in the country…her brain is filled with pot holes…soon 1 of the biggest law suits against the city along with personal lawsuits will prevail…Al Arezzo construction official will be back online & cleared from a wrongful lawsuit against him, already Linston has resigned & soon the wicked WITCH of Hoboken will be gone for she has destroyed this once great city with massive budget deficiency from poor management & employee lawsuits…SHE should be recalled & arrested for impersonating a mayor and corruption charges, soon she’ll get hers….

Now how can this be possible? The mayor just walked up this block a couple of days ago in a Memorial Day Parade and didn’t see a god damned thing!

I saw this happen too. No one gave a shit, was a totally lackadaisical situation. Like nothing really matters to anyone. Private, public, contractors, or whatever. A bunch of robots just wandering around. Surreal.
