Bad driving in Hoboken

Hoboken in a hurry: Cab crash at 5th & Adams

At 2:30pm this afternoon – a violent car crash took place at 5th and Adams Streets. A cab from “Super Taxi Service” in West New York was said to have run the stop sign, slamming into the poor Mini Cooper driving northbound. The collision caused the car to knock the street sign down and crash into the telephone pole. No one was seriously injured.

“Sign of the times” in this hectic, hurried and distracted world we live in.

Drive safe and pay attention this weekend!

10 years ago I didn’t hear cabs drive up and down washington street trolling like cheap whores. They’re desperate, I’m telling you!

Dont blame this on “the sign of the time” or the “economy”, thats ridiculous. Even in good time cabbies, especially in Hoboken, are some of the worst drivers on the road. Would love to see laws pass that mandate cab drivers pass road tests once a year, and more severe penalties for cabbies who get road violations. These people get paid to drive, they should at least do it right

Sign of the economy too. Those cabbies are more stressed than ever to make a buck. You see how they honk at every intersection desperate for fares?
