Drunks spoil otherwise beautiful waterfront
Hoboken drunks careless with their garbage
Boy – this tsunami of garbage along Sinatra Drive downtown is pathetic. It’s obvious some drunks just stuffed themselves with carbs, and stumbled away – without a care in the world (other than their skyrocketing insulin levels they know nothing about).
What’s even sadder is – that waterfront businesses like the Wicked Wolf – actually don’t care that it’s directly in front of their restaurant. If this was your business – would you want the surrounding area looking so shoddy? Volunteer to keep your community clean!

I bet this is from homeless people who might also be drunks… but not the young professional drunks.

@HT – maybe so, but that benefit was nullified by the slices of pizza and other garbage food. Wah wahhh.

Looks to me like the garbage can was blown over (as is fairly common along the water), and someone righted it without picking up the trash.

Those cans do not blow over they are attached to the ground and have inserts in them. The city used to have the cushman carts empty the cans on sinatra and washington streets all day long on weekends. Now they empty them in the morning only. check out washington street by 2pm all the cans are overfilling. Close to a 100 million dollar budget, and they cut out the work that keeps people coming to town… go figure it
