FBI pays a visit to Nick’s Candy

Arrests made by FBI at Nick’s Candy in Hoboken, NJ

Wondering why Nick’s Candy (111 14th St.) has been closed this week?

Sources told Hoboken411 today that there was an apparent raid by the FBI.

What allegedly took place were package deliveries involving some kind of drugs. Word is that the Feds were tracking this operation for upwards of a year before the arrests were made. It’s not certain if the owners or employees were fully aware of what they were involved with, or just unsuspecting middle men part of a bigger operation. Other witnesses said County Police were also involved.

Krissy, one of the old neighbors who overheard everything says the son (Jay) took responsibility for this and told the FBI Yogi was NOT involved in any way and didn’t know anything about it.

I wonder what the parents (Nick and his wife) think about all this. They were in a terrible car accident (Nick’s leg was shattered, wife also badly hurt) and have not been in the store in a long time.
