Chandelier Room looks to open temporary summer bar in Hoboken
Hoboken411 reader Kevin who lives with his fiancé uptown shared some interesting news as to what’s going on at the 13th Street Shipyard Marina.
Apparently, the group from The Chandelier Room at the W Hotel is planning to open a temporary bar in this space for the summer – which they hope to be complete with by Memorial Day.
To ease concerns that residents living in this area might have (like with the loud music last year), the group says it will ensure that they don’t have loud, overbearing music and crowds late into the morning hours – possibly even shutting down extra early each night.
But if and when this comes to fruition – it would be the closest place to the Hudson River that you can have a drink in Hoboken (without being on a boat!)

I think this is a great idea! Many people head to the shore during the summer months and I think it will be nice to have an outdoor spot on the water in Hoboken.

Is there anything in this town that people don’t complain about? I agree with kerco21 , maybe it will keep some of the money that is lost over the summer by the business in town.
