Local fraternity to run Easter food drive

Sigma Phi Epsilon Easter food drive for Hoboken Homeless Shelter

Dan Anunziatta of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity over at Stevens Institute of Technology wanted all residents to know that on Thursday, April 5th and Friday, April 6th, they’ll be conducting an Easter food drive for the Hoboken Homeless Shelter.

They will be set up outside the A&P Supermarket (614 Clinton St.) from 1 to 7pm on Thursday, and from 10am to 4pm on Friday with a list of recommended items for Easter from the shelter, and asking willing customers to pick up an extra item that will go to the shelter.

The “Sig Ep” brothers will then create some Easter gift packages using some of the items, and delivering all of the food to the shelter.

So even if you’re having trouble making ends meet – you can drop one fattening item that doesn’t support the low-carb life from your list, and use the funds to help someone less fortunate!
