You didn’t park on the sidewalk!

Here we have an incident that involved one moving vehicle and two damaged parked cars in the area of 10th and Sinatra Drive. One pickup truck ended up hugging the sidewalk.
Lovely. I called the incident in, as I was walking my dog at the time this happened. It was a loud screech and bang! The individuals said that the driver had fallen asleep at the wheel. They were apparently given a DWI test (as seen in the pictures). Sucks to have your car parked almost anywhere in Hoboken, right?

Twice in the past year I’ve called the Hobo cops to report widespread auto vandalism on Garden, between 7th and 8th. Some yahoos apparently went down the street for several blocks whacking off the side view mirrors of vehicles. I called the cops to report the incidents and their response was 1) to ask if I was calling to say one of their cars did it [I wasn't]; and 2) to say that since my car wasn’t involved, I couldn’t report it. They never bothered to send anybody around.
