FBW Comedy Fundraiser – March 16th

Fund for a Better Waterfront Comedy Show at Willie McBride’s

On Friday, March 16, 2012 – The Fund for a Better Waterfront is holding a comedy fundraiser at Willie McBride’s (616 Grand St.)

The comedy show, produced by Soul Joel Productions, in association with Unpainted Emporium Productions, LLC will feature comedian Joey Gay, a veteran stand-up comic and actor. Joey is a headliner at comedy clubs around the country, and is best known for becoming a finalist in NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.” He’s also performed on Showtime’s “White Boys in the Hood,” “The Howard Stern Show,” and most recently on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham.”

Tickets are $25 (which includes the comedy show, 2 drinks and live music), and proceeds will benefit FBW’s effort to defeat the high-rise towers — the Monarch — proposed for a Hoboken pier uptown.
