City Council Meeting – 2/8/2012

Hoboken City Council Meeting Do-over – February 8, 2012

Last week, the Hoboken City Council Majority didn’t get their way and they stormed out of city hall, essentially canceling the meeting (and not doing their jobs).

Tonight is the do-over.

Hoboken City Council Meeting of February 1, 2012

Below are the meeting documents for tonight’s city council meeting: More lawyer contracts, a new Fire Boat, and probably a sugar-coated explanation as to why city employees weren’t paid on time last week. Accounting error, or did the city actually run out of money?

Council members who walked out showed lack of regard for residents.
The shame is allowing them to continue to recieve a salary & benefits.

ITA! They have 3 more years to finish out their respective terms and believe me they will continue to act so irrationally they will be their OWN undoing. I’m patiently awaiting that fateful day.:)
Council members who walked out showed lack of regard for residents. Can’t attend the meeting tonight, but hope someone gets an answer as to why a trip was necessary using taxpayer money, for Giattino and Pelligrino to fly to Indianapolis during the super bowl.

Waaaaaaaaaaaa, Waaaaaaaaaaaaa, Waaaaaaaaaaaaa…..These individuals along with the people whom back them should be disgraced by the actions of them. As a public servant you act like this, shame on you & you should be removed immediately. This is just a microcosm of Hoboken and it’s mismanaged operation system today & should be a clear indicator of why the city is is severe disrepair.

If you feel the Council Minority is looking out for you then so be it. I however find that hilarious. I will just stick to reading the posts about store openings and closings, and get the real political stories from places that dont spin them.

SPIN THEM? I beilieve you’re confused with zimmers husband and juan meli. Maybe you better stick to reading about stores, cause you don’t seem to comprehend what spinning is being done by your crazed mayor.
If you feel the Council Minority is looking out for you then so be it. Maybe instead of adding this so late they could have waited so the public interested in this issue could attend the meeting and voice their opinion?

THAT was exactly the point! They DO NOT WANT the public to decide WHEN to hold school board elections. And furthermore, the zimmerettes add last minute agenda items all the time.
Maybe instead of adding this so late they could have waited so the public interested in this issue could attend the meeting and voice their opinion?
