If y7ou all wnat to travel a little, the BEST pizza is in Freehold. The place is called Federici's. It's thin crust and so damn delicious. Everytime I go home, I must always bring apie back. All of my friends look forward to it! The MunchMobile really should have went there because that would've been the true winner of the best pizza!!!!

Brothers pizza is about the finest thin style pie. the thick ones tend to be under cooked. brothers pizza is like the old fashion pizza that used to be available in hob. in places like the blue point, flying pizza,&some little place on 3rd and clinton. And on sat.[only] maries on 2nd st made tomato pies ,crushed tomatos and a little olive oil on their bread, it is almost worth the long trip to get a piece.

I'm happy to hear there are more Pizzatown lovers out there! I think their pizza is the best on the planet. But I grew up a few blocks away, so I'm probably a tad biased.

btw, the 7-star guys have stapled their fliers to every f'n tree on my street. which is not only a violation of city ordinence, but can kill the tree! i hate those guys now. they had a period where people would buy their big slices after getting drunk in the bars...but all flys and hair in the food finally took it's toll on their traffic. then there was all the muslim writing on the walls and the arabic pictures...i would rather see them go out of business then give them one penny of my money. i guess they were closed by the health dept and it took this long to get rid of the filth in the place!!
Starting to get a bit bloated and gassy from the quick stops and bumpy van ride. Our next stop is Caffe Capri in Rutherford, NJ. This restaurant gave me the creeps a bit. Pink table cloths, “funeral like” feel inside, and peculiar smell (nothing like a restaurant should smell like). Cheesy, and not in a pizza-like way either. Wasn’t dirty or dumpy, just not my style.

They had a small brick oven in the back. We ordered a bunch of small pies to sample. A margherita, prosciutto, and artichoke. Many people enjoyed this pizza. Light crust, “fresh” ingredients, and so on. I was not impressed. While the Mozz had a rather “creamy” feel, I found this to have the LEAST taste of all the pizzas eaten today. Uninspired. One of my “tests” with pizza is to see how it tastes when it cools off. This had no taste after a few minutes. The sauce also had a medicinal or metally flavor which bothered me. I’ll never go back here again. However, if you’re in Rutherford, a great pizza shop is New York Pizza on Park Ave. Give it a try if you’re in the neighborhood.
Having lived in East Rutherford I know both. I like New York Pizza, try it with extra cheese/extra sauce.

My story about Capri is about eating in. The meal was ok, then we had desert. They don't make their own cakes, but if you have a cake in a display case that is growing mold on it, do not serve it to a customer. The offered me a slice of something else, but honesty I had lost my appetite...
