Hoboken Historic Preservation Award

Here’s some Hoboken good news for a change.

On July 3, 2007, First Ward Councilwomen Terry Castellano (who also Chairs the Hoboken Historic Preservation Commission) awarded Mary Beth Asher with a Heritage Award; the plaque reads “In recognition of her outstanding contribution to the preservation and enhancement of Hoboken’s historic resources. A grateful city extends its thanks & appreciation.”

Ms. Asher & her husband are temporarily relocating to Hong Kong.

Congratulations, Mary Beth!

um, uh yeah. And now that she is president of the Council we’ll all need to keep trying HARDER to educate her!
(she is v good on constituent affairs and support, I should add…)[/quote]

Hopefully being very good at constituent affairs and support will translate into open space for parks and fields.
