Who cooks on Thanksgiving?

Do you cook or order catering on Thanksgiving in Hoboken?

Thanksgiving Dinner is quite a pain in the neck: Planning, shopping, preparation, cleaning and more. Is all that effort really worth it for a single meal?

I was over at Joe’s Prime Meats (now Cugini Italian Kitchen) the other day – and discovered that you can buy a full-blown Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner!

A freshly roasted turkey, with gravy, stuffing and cranberry sauce – plus your choice of creamy mashed potatoes (or yams) and steamed mixed veggies (or string beans and corn).

Pick how many guests you’ll need to feed: up to 6 bellies for $135, 12 for $205, and 18 for $295. Not a bad deal considering the hassle you’ll avoid!

It’s a tradition in my family that everyone gets drunk and leaves a giant mess behind that takes forever to clean up.

It is a tradition in our family that everyone helps with the cooking. There is nothing like the holiday feeling preparing a Thanksgiving meal. 🙂

Thanks! Was wondering whether I should do that this year. It’s a no-brainer.
