City Parking Offenders Abound!

Today’s City Parking Offender update is a two-for-one special.

When you’re hungry, parking illegally makes food taste better

This guy driving a city pickup didn’t think twice about just parking illegally by the corner – so he could pick up his cheese steak from Piccolo’s near 1st & Clinton.

Pedestrian safety is of no concern when your wallet is empty!

And this fella practically took up the entire pedestrian walkway to run into the Chase bank at 14th & Garden Streets.

Remember: You’d get a ticket, they just don’t give a crap! Different rules apply!

Is this any diffierent from anyone else in town? Parking illegally in crosswalks or stopping where it specifically says “no stopping” is almost never enforced.

Just take a look at the corner of 12th and Washington where people park in the crosswalk to pick up their kids from daycare or anywhere near the Starbucks on the corner of 12th and Hudson, where people park in the crosswalk or on 12th St. where it says “no stopping or standing” or double park on Hudson making it almost impossible to get by.

I love school time in the morning at the corner of 9th and Park…

Always a countless number of double parked cars including double parking on a corner where from 8ish-830ish (times may be off) you can only make a left turn.

The best is when a truck is trying to turn and these parents come out and act surprised by the traffic pile up they have now caused.[quote comment=”212206″]Is this any diffierent from anyone else in town? Let’s complain a little more. Here is an idea- drive up Clinton or Bloomfield. Jeez

I drop my daughter at Hoboken Catholic in the morning. It can get messy but most parents get in and out quickly and are respectful of neighbors not to block driveways. There will always be one jerk in a group who may block traffic, but isnt that life? There is always one or two inconsiderate people in a group- whether people on here are bitching about dog walkers, parents with strollers, or whatever.

I will comment that the crossing guard at work plays a huge roll in making these school areas good or a mess. The two by HCA are great- move along traffic thru intersections quickly. The one at Park and 9th is not so good. She holds up traffic for people who are still 15 feet from the intersection. You can get 3 cars through in that time. The one on 4th and Garden is even worse. Says the person on here bitching about my comment…

And Yes it is life and I live on that block so avoiding it is kinda out of the question, thanks for the super awesome suggestion though.

Not really sure where your comment was going, Dog Walkers? Strollers?

Have a good day!! 😉 [quote comment=”212247″]Let’s complain a little more. Here is an idea- drive up Clinton or Bloomfield. JeezI drop my daughter at Hoboken Catholic in the morning.
