2011 Stevens Harvest Festival
13th Annual Harvest Festival fundraiser for Stevens Cooperative
“This community-wide event and block party offers delicious food, arts and crafts, games and activities for children of all ages. “The Harvest Festival is a wonderful tradition. It is always a pleasure to see families having a great time together,” says Joyce Doyle, Director of Development at Stevens.
“My favorite activity is painting pumpkins and then taking them home,” adds Stevens Fifth Grader Clare Carty. Fourth grader Mason Jones remembers, “I love to decorate my own cupcake. It is the best when you can decorate something and eat it too!” While their favorite activities may differ, both agree it is a fun afternoon they look forward to each year.
Stevens would like to thank the event sponsors for their support and donations: Amelia’s Bistro, Boca Grande, Captain Al’s / White Star, Cocoa Bakery, Dorrian’s, 14th Street Garden Center, Houlihan’s Weehawken, How Sweet It Is, Kobricks Coffee Company, LITM, Marma Day Spa, Morton Williams, Paul Sky Photography and Spirit of Laxmi.
The 13th Annual Harvest Festival is open to the public. Ticket sales for food, games and activities benefit the general operating budget and financial aid program for Stevens Cooperative School.”
