Downtown Hoboken: 2nd Water Main Break in as many days
Many downtown Hoboken residents woke up again this morning with either no water, or very low water pressure – because we had our 2nd water main break in as many days.
Yesterday, on Newark Street, and today a block north at 1st & Jackson.

If we get the trifecta tomorrow, do we win a prize? Poop tomatoes?

Where’s Councilman Dave Mello when you need him? You could stop up that gusher with his giant ego. It talks a lot, but it’s really a big wall of nothing, perfect as a water blockade in a crisis like this.

66 Hope you realize marsh mello and ravioli were swept in on the mayors ticket,,other wise egos would not be a factor…Keep putting your faith in the fantastic four + 5 and marvel comics will reward you..All rubber stamps and no rocks top or bottom to be their own person and vote their conscience..This is how it is …

The two former mayors mentioned knew politics and how to stroke the people.it was a different time different era. The developnent begain in 66 with De Pasqual on down to The Green Acres,up to the waterfront development we have today..No more bookie joints to put a bet in on sunday. No more social clubs on sunday morning grabbing a sambuca ,and chatting..There is no more graft to be had..End result we have little SOHO and 50 parks and more space and loaded with bistros for evening revelers..dogwalks and rotten piers that no one knew about..yeah sure..Many voters got what they asked for.
