Hoboken Cop Car trashed by drunk!

Police car in Hoboken totaled by DUI driver

Here’s another example of why Hoboken Police who work the midnight tours should receive shift differential pay for the extra hazards.

Recently – this squad car was slammed by a drunk driver trying to leave to town near 13th & Willow Avenue. Unfortunately for the driver – he was also arrested for DUI.

Fortunately for the rest of us – while the police car was totaled – no one was injured and the offending driver didn’t get out of town to possibly cause a deadly accident elsewhere.

Are you sure this wasn’t the off-duty HPD cop who flipped his car on Clinton Street while under the influence?

I also see a lot of cops fattening up. It should be mandatory for cops to be in the best shape they can be to do their jobs.

i also see lots of females walking along the dog walks and piers with rather large back doors..they should hang a lantern on their rear with a sign Wide Load..and a company car tailing behind them.. They should give Marie Osmand a call. 😆
I also see a lot of cops fattening up. It should be mandatory for cops to be in the best shape they can be to do their jobs.
And I see guys with huge heads who behave as though they’re God’s gift to women. So?

At least the girls you see aren’t supposed to be fighting crime. mooshe no /-but after 2.30 these same girls aka ladies are peeing in the street vomiting in someones drive way and at time causing most of the problems overall..They are not fighting crime but causing lots of problems more than some of the young men .Most of these revelers live out of town..Most are kids with well rounded educations.. Are you observing the pot bellys on the cops or the snot coming from the nose of these kids claiming they have their rights..
And I see guys with huge heads who behave as though they’re God’s gift to women. Easy people – Wiskey is part of Hoboken PD – Same as James (12 pack) Miller, another one of Hoboken’s finest who crushed multiple cars, wasted out of his mind the other night and flipped his ride. Put him on desk duty until they figure it out – figure what out – fire his ass!
i also see lots of females walking along the dog walks and piers with rather large back doors..they should hang a lantern on their rear with a sign Wide Load..and a company car tailing behind them.. CHICO PANCHO.WRONG ON ALL COUNTS. Stop waxing your carrot.. get the facts then distort the truth all you please..I have no alleagence with the PD..If you had a pair you would head to the police station and state your case..I know a few retired cop friends i grew up with that put their lives on the line..It,s funny how trendies and transits such as you are so critical of people places and things..There was one policeman arrested by his own for dwi..lost his job.no desk duty..wisen up cupcake. I will wager you never did a toke or inhaled glue lsd once in your life even as a college preppy..If this cop is guilty so be it..You have a choice if your a nebee or in transit.u can return to the land of entitlement ..no im not a cop but not a lap dog such as you
with no balls more than grapes..Is there a doctor in the house? wisen up and be a human being..each day is a gift..no one is perfect.
Easy people – Wiskey is part of Hoboken PD – Same as James (12 pack) Miller, another one of Hoboken’s finest who crushed multiple cars, wasted out of his mind the other night and flipped his ride. “If this cop is guilty”

Whiskey. it sounds like they found this guy in a flipped car on Clinton street. I’m all for due process, but come on: Clinton’s not a runway. He had to be doing some pretty impressive stunt driving to flip a car.
CHICO PANCHO.WRONG ON ALL COUNTS. emarche ..if he is dwi he is retired..as for stunt driving,comeon..its the way the car flipped ( i guess) don’t get confused with the cars on those silly movies..there speical built cars with charges under the frame to flip them…I know this..for a fact.those cars are speical built and have professional drivers behind the wheel + lots of computer graffics and speical effects..that’s all a bunch of bull chit..This cop is luckey to be alive as well as his comrades…no argument here..thank the Lord no people were in that intersection..
“If this cop is guilty”Whiskey. it sounds like they found this guy in a flipped car on Clinton street. emarche.no argument there..wrong is wrong…Those suvs do flip over..had to be going pretty fast ..Don’t have to be a stunt driver to flip over..The driver in the pd car is blessed to walk away from that one…Wow.
emarche ..if he is dwi he is retired..as for stunt driving,comeon..its the way the car flipped ( i guess) don’t get confused with the cars on those silly movies..there speical built cars with charges under the frame to flip them…I know this..for a fact.those cars are speical built and have professional drivers behind the wheel + lots of computer graffics and speical effects..that’s all a bunch of bull chit..This cop is luckey to be alive as well as his comrades…no argument here..thank the Lord no people were in that intersection..
emarche..i agree..one policeman already lost his job for dwi arrested by his own fellow cops a year ago..fireman same..No defense for poor judgement.. chitty hall has their share of same..If some only knew. It’s not all about riding huffys..If hoboken had the manpower ,as years prior to radar posts would be set up at north and south of the town..Didn’t hear if the new 110,000 ps director has reinstated this..hummm again emarche address this in regard to the dwi problem..just a tought..llotta money earn it
“If this cop is guilty”Whiskey. it sounds like they found this guy in a flipped car on Clinton street. A decade or so ago you couldn’t leave Hoboken on a Saturday night without first going through a DWI check point – to be honest, in the last 10 years I have not seen one. The message was very clear back then – be prepared to stop as you exit town. Now all I see are cops flirting it up with drunk girls on Washington Street or texting.

Dr. Chico….Couldn’t agree with you any more!!! Hit them where it hurts and maybe they will take notice and do something about it. Anyone coming into town now knows there are no repercussions to drinking/driving so they take it to the extreme and residents pay ultimately.
A decade or so ago you couldn’t leave Hoboken on a Saturday night without first going through a DWI check point – to be honest, in the last 10 years I have not seen one. Dr Chico..is it a doctorate degree or a proctoliogist degree you possess? You should approach these flirtatious cops and or report them…BTW what the hell are you doing out past your bedtime as a good citizen? Just make a call to the police station..I would not stand for it as a concerened citizen.. 🙂
Dr. Chico….Couldn’t agree with you any more!!! correct…former lt j Alilello and officer Cahill use to set up check points on sinatia drive and park ave coming off the bridge into hoboken.. That was in the early 90’s.. This was before the birth of the new era of bistros and hangouts..
Dr. Chico….Couldn’t agree with you any more!!! This was an of off duty cop who flipped his vehicle. He was charged with a DUI. Kind of ironic seeing what this story is about.
Did anyone see/hear the car accident on 6th and clinton at about 4am this morning?
