Hudson River Walk – October 9th

Walk the Hudson River Walkway in Weehawken and Hoboken

Another fun thing to add to your list of weekend ideas in Hoboken!

On Sunday, October 9th (9:30am) it will be the last time this year to “Walk the Walkway” with members of the Hudson River Waterfront Conservancy of NJ, the group that oversees the condition of this special path along the riverfront. The walk will cover an easy 2.5 miles, will take about 2 hours and is suitable for children and adults of all ages.

Walkers will meet at the Weehawken War Memorial (see visual reference below). Reach the site by traveling along Port Imperial Road (most of us refer to it as “River Road”) and turn into Carlyle Court which twists around to become Pershing Rd. On the left is free parking and the Memorial. A donation of $5 is suggested.

When does the section of the walkway behind the tea building connecting to Weehawken open up? I see benches installed.
