Sunday Afternoon in Hoboken

Here’s a few shots of some activities yesterday in Hoboken. The Puerto Rican Festival, Free Kayaking and people milling around town.

Video was shot on the way home from Jersey City. 12 one-take scenes. Again the video editor cuts off some characters. I’m too lazy to re-do it.

See some more shots after the break.

People everwhere except in that patch of grass by Maxwell House. What happened to the plan to get some fat, hairy guys to sit there all summer long?

Exactly, krew, I walk by there every weekend and never any of those Tai Chi guys in Speedos that we were promised!

Seriously, somebody use that “park” before they claim lack of demand for open space and plop another condo building on it…

I’ve taken my kids (and some friends) to the Maxwell Place a few times after we’ve eaten dinner out, and I’ve told them to run around, play tag and yell as loud as they like. I’m waiting for someone to complain that my little kids are making too much noise, but it hasn’t happened yet!

I am up for organizing a game of ultimate frisbee with some of the nerds at Stevens and some of the hippies who still think they are in college.

Wait until football season and everyone thinks they need to play football on Sunday mornings. 😈
