Crimes, Incidents, Fire Calls & Vehicular mishaps

  • 12:15am 9/15/2013: “Drunk dude passed out between two cars at 1st & Garden.(What a loving feeling!)
  • 11:53pm: “Man down near 4th & Adams.” (John Adams would not be pleased with the bad rap his street is getting tonight…)
  • 11:48pm: “Female being assaulted at 4th & Grand.(See – I cannot imagine why, but I’m sure the assailant probably has a reason…)
  • 11:30pm: “Motorcyclist gets off bike and punched female in face at 13th & Washington.” (She must have given him really dirty looks! Wow!)
  • 10:50pm: Drunk refuses to leave Starbucks downtown. (Muther F’in CAFFEINE ADDICT! Haha!)
  • 10:35pm: “Parked car struck in midtown garage near Hospital.” (I bet it was one of those guys with a coveted BMW 330i who thought he’d be safe in a garage. Whaa Wahhh.)
  • 10:18pm: Boyfriend / girlfriend fight at 310 Marshall Drive. (Had to be about politics, right?)
  • 10:05pm: Fight in front of Rita’s Ice – 121 Washington Street. (Guess they got mad over which “fruity” flavor they’d eat? Wow!)
  • 7:15pm: “Disoriented drunk in lobby at 300 Adams Street.” (His drink will be featured on next week’s Hoboken Happy Hours! Whoo Hoo!)
  • 7:10pm: “Drunk won’t leave Texas Arizona.” (Guess the wings and restrooms rocked. Better than being at his own home!)
  • 7:00pm: Cops said a man was bitten by a PYTHON near 1st & Court Streets. (What a shitty pet! A girl won’t even help suck out the venom. Burn!)
  • 6:00pm: “Shots fired” up in Jersey City Heights. Cops said the suspects ran towards Hoboken. (Probably to re-fill their bullets!)

411, any further details heard about the girl being assaulted at 4th and Grand? Just curious, and more alarmed to be living in the area. Thanks making the reality of crime in this town more visible.

We just got back from an early night out. The volume was much higher than we saw during the summer. The town is picking up which is good for some retailers and bars but it has obvious downsides. Turn your fans on for added noise cancellation if you have them.
