FDNY boat visits Hoboken

NYC Fire Boat makes a pit stop at Shipyard Marina in Hoboken

Most of you know about the insane security in NYC for the UN General Assembly. Everyone must be on duty over in the city, including this crew on a FDNY Marine vessel – who docked at the Shipyard Marina uptown at sunset this evening.

Does all that extra security make you feel safe? Inconvenienced? Like a suspect in your own country?

PS – if you have images collecting dust on your camera or hard drive – send them in for eventual inclusion on Hoboken411! Please state how you’d like to be credited in your email, and a description – if desired!!

A police state like we’ve never seen before. Not a pleasing sight.

Oh please. Don’t we see complaints on this blog all the time about the lack of patrols on our streets? Why does a boat off of our waterfront performing their prescribed duty offend thee so?
A police state like we’ve never seen before. Not a pleasing sight.
