Beware of Police Impersonator!

Man impersonating Police in Hudson County, NJ

Hoboken Police were put on alert early this morning to be on the lookout for a man who’s been impersonating a police officer in the area.

The man, who stands 6′ 6″ tall, with salt & pepper hair identifies himself as “Carl Edwards,” and drives a 2010 Dodge Charger (or Challenger) with NJ license plate VPP-68P.

He’s been know to identify himself as an officer from Jersey City or Newark, as well as various state and governmental agencies.

If you see this car, or this man approaches you – please call Hoboken Police at (201)420-2100 immediately.
