Hoboken Invention: Shopping List Bag

Shopping List & Reusable Bag in one!

Hoboken resident Daniel Russo had an idea – solve the problem of “forgotten shopping lists” and encourage more re-usable bag use.

And the result is: “The Shopping List Bag.”

“I’ve invented, and am now manufacturing the Shopping List Bag™ as a way to reduce forgetfulness of reusable bags. (#1 reason people don’t bring reusable bags to the store is forgetfulness.)

The Shopping List Bag™ combines a user’s shopping list, pen, coupon clip and loyalty cards into a full-sized reusable bag that lives on the fridge (where your shopping list typically lives.) So now when you go to the store with your list, you’ll always have at least one reusable bag for your purchases.”

This design was also recognized by The National Resource Defense Council for the innovative packaging.

Shopping List Bag Facebook Promo

“To celebrate our upcoming launch of the Shopping List Bag™ we’re holding a Facebook contest that will run until Sunday, 9/18 at 11:59pm. When someone “Likes” LE Green Bags on Facebook, they’ll be automatically entered to win a free Shopping List Bag before they’re available to the public.”

This is nothing new my mother used the same system a real long time ago, she would write what she wanted on the bag, put the $$$ in the bag and send me down to the corner store. Then the store owner would put the change in the bag and I went home.

If this could get me to start using coupons again, it would definitely pay for itself many times over!

This idea is too ambitious. Now you’ll forget TWO things instead of just one or the other.
