Hoboken is sick of “do as we say, not as we do”

Hoboken411 reader Staci sent in this photo from 13th & Garden and said:

“It’s understandable that emergency vehicles must arrive quickly and park where they must to address the safety of residents, but regular city workers? If I parked my car here I’d get a ticket and maybe even towed. And why do we have such a big fleet of inefficient SUV’s for these employees? What about bikes for them too? The hypocrisy pisses me off!”

I’ve never seen a Corner Car with a ticket either, even though I’ve seen plenty of them parked illegally. It’s obvious that Hertz has a “wink-wink” agreement with the Mayor and the Parking Utility.

tunamelt ,and you won’t see a corner car recieve a summons..Just click your slippers three and say (there is no selective enforcment) over and over again..The key is you must take a few photos and you know what else is next..[quote comment=”210336″]I’ve never seen a Corner Car with a ticket either, even though I’ve seen plenty of them parked illegally. Not suprising. How is it that some cars park night and day on corners and don’t receive a ticket, but I always seem to be singled out?
