Hoboken quickly goes back to almost normal

Barely a sign of Hurricane Irene just a day later in Hoboken

Other than some remnant downed trees, and flooding still in the extreme SW part of Hoboken – to the ordinary passerby, there is practically no sign that Hurricane Irene even existed in this city! (Just don’t say that to anyone with a flooded basement!)

Most of the flooding has subsided, and things are flowing smoothly in the Mile Square.

Gorgeous summer day!

xx even in a crissis we have greed..What a pair of cubes. i agree with you. new comers still may not comprehend that this chit town is below sea level and water seeks its level. (Remember with the queen of sewarge once said.( the pumps the pumps my kingdome for just one sump pump) People in Kansas have storm cellers and its their way of life..wizard of oz…New orleans, in africia where food dosent grow people still refuse to be relocated.. Hoboken went from a blue collar town that delt with the water for years to hey I pay taxes and want results..Your singing to the choir.keep in mind the master degrees and most educated ones choose to come here and locate in the western area…The real estate scum got over.shame on those who believed a liie or were not advised of the cess pool in the south and north west.of happy hoboken. 😛 [quote comment=”210231″]Unless you’re giving discounts, why don’t you keep your spamming to yourself?
