patroits/what gets me is for a lousy 30 minutes of fireworks we have true americans barking over this?Half of these true americans had chit in their diapers during 911. They moved the feast up to the piers after 80 years..Later on it will be ok to have the arts and music festival and litter the streets from obs hy to seventh street at the tax payers $$$$ I was told there inventing fireworks with out sound .If the jerks recall that muslim radical born in the usa left an suv in front of the playhouse Lion king..Not a problem for the barkers..If the nuts want to hit us with a dirty bomb, remember you see the flash then kiss your arse good by..No noise tilll after your vaporized…You live here deal with it and thank your God for each day he gives you and wisen up… 😉

The thing heard all over and over is get back to normal, live your life as you always have. If you start canceling anything over the fear of some sort of terrorist threat —THEY WON. If you are afraid of living any type of normal life and are cringing at every little thing go find a deep dark cave and move in and hide and guess what? YOU LOST–THEY BEAT YOU

If you’re sincere about honoring the fallen – not just those at the Pentagon, the WTC, the passengers on Flight 93, but also all of the brave service men and women who have died in the global fight against terrorism since 9/11 – then a few fireworks and some much needed levity on a dark day shouldn’t be an issue. Why? Because if you’re sincere about remembering them you carry them in your heart day in and day out; not just on anniversaries.

Most importantly: honor them by acknowledging and accepting the fact that life goes on. Taking a moment to celebrate the fact that we’re all still lucky to be alive and able to enjoy our time is hardly an affront to the deceased. And yes, it’s been said millions of times, but it bears repeating: the best way to stick it to the monsters who attacked our country and who took the lives of all those innocent people? Keep on going. Live life as an American to the fullest and don’t let them get to us. Not to our minds, not to our hearts. They hate that. You have no idea how much they hate that.

MARCHE so correct and on the money..Most of the newbes are to melodramatic and have to bitch about something..Notice the tail gate partys at jet giant stadium..WASH DC .12.00 BEERS AND WHO THE F##K WORRIED ABOUT AN ATTACK.We have been at war with the towel heads over 10 years.. 30 minutes of fireworks once a year spoiled the evening for a few newbees..get use to it..or take the ferry..back to where ever..Wonder if any of these lolly pops recall the movie black sunday made over 25 years ago in regard to a terror attack on superbowl sunday.? Leave the melodramatics to the soap operas… 😉 [quote comment=”210614″]If you’re sincere about honoring the fallen – not just those at the Pentagon, the WTC, the passengers on Flight 93, but also all of the brave service men and women who have died in the global fight against terrorism since 9/11 – then a few fireworks and some much needed levity on a dark day shouldn’t be an issue. Everyone was on edge because of the proximity to September 11. It sure didn’t make a whole lot of sense to be setting large blasts in the middle of the day. I know a bunch of people were standing in the road at one point saying “what the hell was that”. Maybe the organizers should have taken that into consideration, if only because it was the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and everyone was a bit more on edge than usual. Else why have the Hudson County Swat team on the pier, Path, and trains???? ❗

What you meant to say is that YOU were on edge. I suppose the fans filling Met Life Stadium on 9/11 for a football game feared for their lives too. You wanna make a point, then make a point. Don’t be an idiot.[quote comment=”210611″]Everyone was on edge because of the proximity to September 11. It sure didn’t make a whole lot of sense to be setting large blasts in the middle of the day. No-I meant exactly what I said. When people in the streets stop and say “what the hell was that?!”, they are certainly on edge. And that’s exactly what happened. Don’t put words in my mouth-I was describing factual events. Please feel free to take a long walk and f yourself.[quote comment=”210613″]What you meant to say is that YOU were on edge. Yeah, and they probably would have asked the same question if a car back fired if they were so worked up. It has NOTHING to do with the organizers of the festival. Now you get it. I believe you could use that walk yourself[quote comment=”210624″]No-I meant exactly what I said. When people in the streets stop and say “what the hell was that?!”, they are certainly on edge. And again I would say no. There was a lengthy series of loud explosions which were unexplained. And it wasn’t just me that was caught off guard but many people stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and outside of shops. I would also add: Why don’t you go outside and play a nice game of hide and go f yourself.[quote comment=”210632″]Yeah, and they probably would have asked the same question if a car back fired if they were so worked up. ….and your last sentence sounds like something they would do on Puppy Dog Lane where you probably came from. LMAO –a series of “lengthy loud explosions” would denote fireworks. Did all you people hear the planes too that were dropping all these bombs? Bye bye useless.[quote comment=”210649″]And again I would say no. whine n dine../These people are full of dung..It’s not an italian thing more than moronic bull chit…Notice Games are played on dec 7th if it falls on Weekends especially ARMY NAVY.I also heard fireworks across the Hudson a few weeks ago…why?? no one seemed to bitch and moan over that. I respect others opinions but comeon now ..30 minutes of fireworks once a year moved to the pier not to wake up fido in his cardboard condo and next we should have silent fireworks…To that AGNOSTIC DUFEL BAG AND MINOLO I go by the words of jesus and not man made laws from the vaticain..Jesus never said you cant eat meat on fridays ash wednsday etc..Mark twain aka clemmens said it best(we plan and God blocks) We have been at war since 2001..Guess what your kin are not coming home soon. The best is how nebees complain about half full or half empty..let it go and enjoy the day. 😀 [quote comment=”210613″]What you meant to say is that YOU were on edge.
