Adapted at Maxwell’s – August 20th
Teen rock band “Adapted” plays Maxwell’s with Hoboken connection
Bumped into former 5th Ward Councilman Michael Cricco the other day. He flagged me down, excited to tell me about a band that’s playing this Saturday, August 20th over at Maxwell’s (11th & Washington.)
Cricco’s long time girlfriend Mary Gould’s son Nathan plays the drums in a band called Adapted.
Ringwood, NJ residents Nathan, along with Tyler, Steve and Garrett are a very promising and talented bunch of kids! Their main claim to fame isn’t their original band Adapted (check out the great track “Blackened Walls” on their MySpace page…) but rather their Beatles cover-band “Blueberry Acres,” who’ve placed in the top three at Beatlefest in Secaucus for the past three years (including first place back in 2009!)
Remember, The Beatles started out when they were teens too – so this could be the next top act of the future! Check ’em out!
Here’s Blueberry Acres playing “A Day in the Life” at Beatlefest 2010 last year:
