Hoboken Police & Fire Blotter: 8/2/2011
Hoboken crime and fire action: August 2, 2011
An ongoing list of various noteworthy incidents, crimes and fire-calls throughout the day for Tuesday, August 2, 2011. This post may be updated and “bumped” periodically.
- 10:30pm: More stolen packages
A resident living near 10th & Park arrived home to realize that a package that was delivered to them today was nicked from the lobby. Well that just sucks! There goes the benefit of shopping online!
- 9:20pm: NANNY ASSAULT
A man living at 1125 Maxwell Lane caught his nanny assaulting his SIX AND A HALF MONTH OLD BABY on his Nanny-Cam. He fired her on the spot, and called Hoboken Police. EMS also arrived to check the infant out, but luckily no hospitalization was required. Who “assaults” a completely defenseless little baby? It’s just too bad that one income isn’t enough to rear children these days, and that the billion-dollar nanny industry is even necessary.
