Wouldn’t the comprehensive portion of an auto policy cover this kind of thing?

Even though my specific area wasn’t affected, this is why my flood insurance is more than my home owners insurance! Can we try to elect people to the City Council this year who will have the intelligence and the integrity to actually upgrade the infrastructure to keep up with the (over) development???

Try to get Homeowners Insurance after this if you live in Hoboken. I wonder if your car insurance will cover this or they consider this an “Act of God” and will deny all claims.

After viewing everyone’s pics….all I can say is HOLY WATERS!!! OMG! I am glad I donot work in Hoboken any longer!!!!! I really feel aweful for all of you who endured this.

I am sure it closed, however it was not during the day. People were free to drive thru the flood.

I just walked past 7th and Willow a little while ago and it is indeed closed. There is a barricade up and what appeared to be a PSE&G guy standing around. Also, it smells LOVELY.
