Waterfront access in Hoboken dwindling

Entire piers closed on gorgeous weekend days in Hoboken

OK – we understand why certain waterfront locations in Hoboken are closed – like the collapsed road on Sinatra Drive, the gazebo area to the south, the walkway surrounding the Hudson Tea Building, as well as the soccer field at Sinatra Park (throw in Pier C Park for good measure).

However, what is the reason why the 14th Street Pier uptown was closed last weekend? Do we have something to worry about?

I brought my friend from out of town to the waterfront and she laughed, felt embarrassed for all of us.

Don’t be embarrassed, unless you voted for Zimmer. Then you should be ashamed.
I brought my friend from out of town to the waterfront and she laughed, felt embarrassed for all of us.
Applied wants to build more towers but can’t even be bothered to keep this pier open?
