Pub Crawl to help pay for St. Patty’s fines

Hoboken resident organizes pub crawl to pay for St. Patty’s ticket

Lauren was one of the many revelers who received a stiff ticket during the last Hoboken St. Patrick’s Parade.

To help recover some of the finances lost – she and her roommate decided to organize an “alcoholic stimulus” in the form of – you betcha – a Spring Bar Crawl!

To sign up – either email springbarcrawl@gmail.com – or head over to Pier A Park tomorrow before noon. The cost is $15 bucks, and gives you access to the specials they set up at many bars throughout Hoboken.

Do you think Lauren did the right thing by organizing a pub crawl? Or will she just end up with yet another $2,000 ticket?

Not sure how to feel about this one. There’s a part of me that agrees, You got a fine tough cookies suck it up. There’s another part of me that finds this ironic, ingenious, clever and super funny.

Everyone knew what they could and shouldn’t have done on this day. If they were one of the many who were fined for being reckless, dumb, and inconsiderate, tough cookies.

I’m a really nice person and got a parking ticket, maybe I should have a lemonade sale to raise the funds. She shouldn’t have an unruly party, and if the party got deemed unruly and she got fined, she should hit up the people at her party, not the general public. If the people at the party can’t pay the fine then it’s her problem.

Whatever happened to personal resonsibility?

If you could convince the general public to ante up for your parking ticket, more power to you. This is a funny and creative concept – some of you people need to lighten up a touch.[quote comment=”206451″]I’m a really nice person and got a parking ticket, maybe I should have a lemonade sale to raise the funds.
