Too big for stroller?

Funny new website shows kids too big for strollers!

Hoboken411 reader Mike sent this via text in the other day.

There’s this blog out there called Too Big For Stroller – which shows photos of parents wheeling their children around – when they can clearly walk just fine. Some of the photos were quite ridiculous! The photo on the left below – was actually taken in Hoboken, NJ too!

When do you think kids should be forced to walk? Or is it just easier for parents this way?

MY COMPUTER MOVED MY WORDS AROUND AS I WAS WRITING THIS SO HERE IT IS FIXED

I LOVE HOW YOU ONLY PUT MY 1 COMMENT TO THANK DPEREZ AND DIDN’T PUT MY COMMENT TO EVERYONE ELSE FOR MAKING FUN OF THESE KIDS. WTG YOU LIKE TO PUT THINGS OUT THERE, BUT IF YOU DON’T LIKE WHAT SOMEONE HAS TO SAYS YOU DON’T PUT IT, EVERYRHING SHOULD BE PUT OUT THERE NOT ONLY WHAT YOU WANT TO PUT ON. I UNDERSTAND THIS IS YOUR PAGE AND ALL BUT LET EVERYONE GET THERE WORDS OUT. YOU ADD THINGS OF PEOPLE MAKING FUN OF OUR KIDS AND WHEN WE STAND UP FOR THEM YOU WONT EVEN LET US. SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE AND YOU FOR NOT LETTING US STICK UP FOR OUR KIDS SMH

If you didn’t write in all caps people might actually take the time to read what you have to say. People are too quick to judge….what if these kids had something mwntalky or physically wrong with them? My daughter was in a stroller until she was 5 years old. She was birn severly premature and was very tiny. Making her walk from the southeast corner of Hoboken to the northeast corner to her school was out of the question….she was an asthmatic. Even taking the bus, she would have to walk her tiny legs from Washington Street to her school. So educate yourselves before you speak!

I checked out that blog and it’s actually not really fair to judge whether some of those kids are too big for strollers. Many of the pictures were taken at amusements parks where people walk a lot more than usual, and some of those kids are probably suburban kids who aren’t too used to walking all day in the hot sun.

Is there a blog which shows guys that shouldn’t be using golf carts to get around the course?

Is there a possibility that these kids could be “special” or something?

THANK YOU SO MUCH DPEREZ FROM A MOM WHO HAS A DAUGHTER LIVING WITH AUTISM. I KNOW THE ONE KID IN THE PICTURE AND HE HAS AUTISM AND IT MAKES ME SICK TO SEE EVERYONE MAKING FUN OF THEM, I DON’T KNOW THE LITTLE GIRL WITH THE SIP CUP BUT SHE DOES LOOK LIKE SHE CAN HAVE AUTISM. I WOULD LOVE FOR ANY OF THESE PEOPLE TO COME UP TO ME WHEN 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IS IN HER STROLLER I WOULD GIVE THEM A LISTEN IN AUTISM AND IN LIFE SOMETHING THEIR PARENTS NEVER DID. THANK YOU AGAIN SO MUCH FOR STANDING UP FOR OUR KIDS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS YOU ROCK AND WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU AND YOU PARENTS ALSO ROCK FOR RAISING A GREAT PERSON :O)
