Blatant Blocking: HPU Parking Offender

HPU Offender parks illegally; blocks resident in

Here’s a stunning example of the weak leadership and poor management skills of Hoboken Parking Utility director Ian Sacs, who’s own employee doesn’t understand the importance of good public image.

“Woke up this morning to find my car boxed in pretty tightly (totally expected as I was in the last legal spot at the end of a block), but was more than annoyed to see that the offender was actually pressed up into my bumper.

Upon closer inspection I noticed that the car that was up my car’s butt had a Hoboken Parking Utility “badge” in its windshield. Not sure who gets these badges but I thought it was pretty amusing that this car was both parked illegally and actually in contact with my car.”

Ian: Hope you got decaf this morning! (Or are you on another tax-payer funded “training trip” all expenses paid?)

The employees car should have been taken off the street like everyone else.

The Parking Enforcement Officers think they are above the parking laws: The vehicle
should have been ticketed and towed like any other parking offender: Double standard
in this city is ridiculous.
The employees car should have been taken off the street like everyone else.
Or what I saw on this site a few years back- grab a poopy diaper and rub it on each door handle. Great idea to whoever thought of that one a while ago- inonvenience, gross, but no permanent damage. This is absolutely ridiculous. I would get a boot and ticket for this.

This officer should be suspended and get his car towed.

I’m sure they’ll have a reasonable excuse, right?
