Hoboken resident stumbles on Cathie Black Media Frenzy
Hoboken411 reader Raymond was in NYC just minding his own business when he ran across a media blitz involving Cathleen Black – the School Chancellor that New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg chose to replace yesterday.
“The decision to remove Ms. Black represents a rare step by Mr. Bloomberg, who takes pride in standing behind his deputies in the face of public criticism,” said the NY Times – something Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer would never do to her comprehensive array of inexperienced campaign donors who were all appointed to various municipal positions in the Mile Square. Tsk, tsk.
About his completely random photo opportunity, Raymond said “My daughter and I were in the city, crossing Park Ave, saw a bunch of photogs, and I got this shot. She was out for about 3-4 minutes. We came along at the right 3-4 minutes. Moral of the story – Always have a camera with you!”
