Verizon FiOS 1/2 Price Movies on Friday

Why go to bars when you can watch 1/2 price movies!

Verizon FiOS recently instituted their On-Demand movies at half-price on Fridays – hoping that their customers don’t want to go out, but would rather stay home and catch a flick.

They pick a various selection of HD movies each Friday – that you can watch instantly for only $2.99.

Is that reason enough to stay home from Hoboken bars? Or are they grasping at straws to drum up revenue?

I’ve never had a problem with Fios. I think its great the internet is also good. Actually I did have a problem once a truck ripped it out of the wall. The service was prompt. MSNBC is now available and so are the BOE and Council meetings (if that’s a concern) Recently cablevision took away the game show channel and added it to a pay sports packager disappoint lots of senior citizens If you can live without Jeff Henning go for it.

I live downtown (Southwest) and I’ve had FIOS for several years. Several of my neighbors do as well

Is it worth it? I’m about fed up with cablevision? I got an offer from them the other day, I live downtown as well.
I live downtown (Southwest) and I’ve had FIOS for several years. Several of my neighbors do as well
Are there any plans in the near future for Downtown Hoboken to be able to get FIOS?
