60 Second Review: Vito’s Lotsa Pasta
[Continuing the original Hoboken411 60 Second Review Series…]
Vito’s Lotsa Pasta serves up Perfect Penne!
Now that spring has rolled around – the Hoboken Lunch Trucks will be out in force until the winter season. This is good news for Mile Square residents – as an unexpected sighting of one of these tasty mobile food vendors often inspires an impromptu meal decision.
One such example was the other day – when on a walk with the Hoboken411 Mascot Oscar, I inadvertently stumbled across Vito’s Lotsa Pasta – who was set up near the 14th Street Ferry Terminal in front of The Sovereign building.
The subject for this review was an order of Penne Pasta with Meat Sauce (and some grated Parmesan cheese).
For around eight bucks – you get a hearty serving (most normal people will have leftovers), perfectly cooked pasta, and plenty of delectable sauce to dip your bread in. It’s one of those situations where you feel like you got your money’s worth.
Have you ever tried Vito’s Lotsa Pasta? What did you think?
You can normally find Vito’s downtown for lunch, and uptown for dinner. Preliminary schedule has them out Tuesday through Thursday – but will expand once weather becomes warmer.
