An ongoing list of various noteworthy incidents, crimes and fire-calls throughout the day for Friday, April 1, 2011. This post may be updated and “bumped” periodically.
Crimes, Incidents, Fire Calls & Vehicular mishaps
- 3:55am: Quiet night!
The reason there were only a few updates tonight is that there weren’t many significant incidents worth noting. My guess is that the semi-cruddy weather kept many of the out-of-town idiots back in their local stomping grounds. Check back with tomorrow night’s Hoboken Police Blotter to see much better action. - 1:05am: “Man Down”
Reports of a “man down” in the lobby of 321 Bloomfield Street. Hoboken Police and EMS en route. - 11:45pm: Stevens party is “smoking”
A party at a Stevens Institute Frat house at 801 Hudson Street off-set fire alarms. Apparently smoke machines. HFD en route. Those pesky Scooby Doo kids! - 11:15pm: Sloppy idiot causes pizza problems
The owners of Lorenzo’s Pizza called in a situation where customers were “making a mess” (knocking garbage over) and wouldn’t leave. HPD arrived and the sloppy patrons had left – headed westbound. 411: No way that would happen to me – drunk or not. Pizza = love.

- Updating this incident from the 3/30/2011 Hoboken Blotter – here’s what one of the parked cars that was struck on Bloomfield Street looked like. Sheesh!
