Risqué alcohol advertisements in Hoboken

Sexy Carpineto Dogajolo wine ad on delivery truck in Hoboken

This delivery truck that makes almost daily stops in Hoboken – and it’s a bit hard to tell by the computer enhancements to this advertisement, whether the model is real or just a rendering – but it got my attention.

This topless woman for Carpineto Dogajolo Wine – who’s hair covers one boob – and the hand blocks the other, is a very provocative visual.

Two questions:

  1. Are you offended by the ad? How about with all the kids in town?
  2. More importantly – is the wine any good?

I think if you don’t like it, don’t look at it. The same goes for TV, film, radio – no one is forcing you to watch or look at anything. This country has no problem exploiting violence, whether it’s the local news, a video game, or a movie, but god help us if we show any nudity. Don’t get me started on why it’s okay to show women naked in films, but if you dare show more than a guy’s ass, it becomes X-rated.

I’ve seen less fabric on some women on Saturday nights.

I don’t find it offensive. I find it kind of weird and creepy.

If this offends you, don’t go to a museum. There might be naked statues and paintings there.

#1 – great post – I agree completely.

I haven’t seen that truck yet, maybe its mostly just uptown? (which I guess would be worse since its stroller central up there)
