ZogSportsNJ Hoboken“ZogSports New Jersey, the co-ed, social, charity-focused sports organization that brought you that influx of signs about why “Dodgeball + Happy Hour = Good” is offering three other sports in addition to dodgeball this spring. While you can sign up as a full team or individual/small group on your own, they are also offering Hoboken411 readers the opportunity to be on a team together. If you’re interested, when you register for a sport, just write “Hoboken411” in the “comments” section of the registration page and they will put all individuals who mention this site on a team together. Of course, you can still sign up your own team or just sign up and be placed on a team of other individuals! Here are some details on registration:

 • Newark Softball – Weeknight (Mon., Tue., Wed, & Thur nights) games running late April through August. Field located just off of I-78, Rt. 1-9, & Rt. 22. Easy access throughout northern NJ.
 • Meadowlands Soccer in The Bubble – Wednesday & Thursday night games in THE premier facility in NJ. Games start in April.
 • Hoboken Dodgeball – After selling out our first 3 seasons we’re back, bigger and badder than ever with 3 levels of competition!

Registration for Spring 2008 Leagues Going on Now Dodgeball (Hoboken) * Kickball (Hoboken) * Touch Football (Hoboken & Jersey City)* Soccer (Meadowlands) The best way to connect with fellow Hoboken-ites isn’t online – it’s on the court, pegging each other with red foam balls. Or on the field with some two-hand touch. ZogSportsNJ, the social, co-ed, charity-focused sports club kicked off registration for its spring activities, opening its leagues to thousands of Hoboken-ites to meet for some friendly competition and socializing at post-game happy hours. While entire teams can join the league, ZogSportsNJ also makes it easy for individuals or small groups to join by placing them on teams with other individuals. This spring, ZogSportsNJ will offer leagues throughout Northern New Jersey, like Dodgeball and Kickball in Hoboken, Touch Football in Hoboken & Jersey City, and Soccer at the Meadowlands. As ZogSportsNJ has been growing consistently from year-to-year and season-to-season, we expect the Spring 2008 season to be the biggest and best yet. WHEN: Early Registration: February 4-15. Late Registration February 16-29. Most leagues run from March through May. WHAT: Dodgeball (Hoboken) * Soccer (Meadowlands) * Kickball (Hoboken) * Football (Hoboken & Jersey City ) * and more HOW: Register at http://www.zogsports.org or http://www.zogsportsNJ.org About ZogSports ZogSports, the co-ed, social, charity-focused sports organization, has spent the last four years helping young New Yorkers do something different by offering sports leagues, trips, social events, and volunteer opportunities for people in their 20s and 30s. To date, they have brought together 35,000… Read more »
I know that teams that play in the Hoboken Adult Soccer League on Saturday nights are always looking for extra players because of scheduling conflicts. If you are a man or woman and are ready to play and lurking around the field around game time, you are likely to get picked up. If you are a woman, you can do the same thing anytime any of the coed teams are playing as there regularly seems to be a shortage of female players.
Especially if your a keeper

Pretty much the answer is never. The only chance you have is if it’s raining or you take the day off.
