Two Words: Parking Hypocrisy

Or you could say “Carpentry Emergency?”

I could care less where cops, fire truck or EMS vehicles park when they’re responding to an emergency. It’s their job to arrive and address the situation as quickly as possible for the benefit of the residents.

However, what emergency could this City Hall Carpentry Division van have been responding to that they had to park in the yellow by an intersection? Happy hour?

Went to council meeting early {around 6:40pm] and put $2.00 in meter and received a ticket several minutes before the deadline of 9PM. It’s the law and it cost me $32 to be active in civic matters. Meters should stop at 7PM. The big “H’ word is right! : πŸ™„

truth..If you can prove the hpu agents are told to full a quota, its against the law . btw you only had two hours on the meter at 6.40pm.. Be observent and take pictures and see how many circumvent vehicles outside chitty hall and else where.watch the cushmans on the sweeper run and look for handicaps..btw they do recieve uniform allowences after a few months unless that changed..What I saw on washington st was a pile of rags with a badge ..You couldn’t tell what the hell they were..what do you want for 17k per year..without training..Check the buss stops after 6am..A time when it was a summons at 6 and tow at 6.30. 😐 [quote comment=”204632″]Went to council meeting early {around 6:40pm] and put $2.00 in meter and received a ticket several minutes before the deadline of 9PM. Is there a uniform code in regard to the pkg utility?? Some of the agents walking along the avenue look like they dressed out of a bathroom hamper… πŸ˜†

i have been meaning to ask about this for a while. WHY do we have a Carpentry Division?
Does the city have that much Carpentry work, that they actually have to have a department? i am sure it has a supervisor, a scheduler, workers, vans etc?

Doesn’t the mayor(CEO) know that in business, you do what you are good at (your Core business) and outsource the rest? can’t they get a local firm to perform these duties as and when needed, without carrying a payroll and overhead for an entire department?

oh wait, its election season, so they can only talk about parks…my bad.
