Mon Cheri Frozen Yogurt to open in Hoboken this week
Taking the place of Oyo Frozen Yogurt (517 Washington St.) is another frozen yogurt place: Mon Cheri.
The proprietors of Oyo decided to focus on other endeavors – and new owner Henry said he’s excited to try his luck in the competitive Hoboken Yogurt Market.
Mon Cheri will feature “all natural” ingredients – but chose to break away from the whole “organic” label fantasy. “Our yogurt tastes as good as ice cream,” said Henry.
They expect to open by Wednesday, March 16th – and will make further interior renovations along the way.

I must have missed the small business yogurt convention around here recently. Why is this all the rage? Where did it come from? Is there that much demand?

Yeah, we don’t need six frozen yogurt places. One is enough. OYO was cool. Too bad it’s not the one sticking around…
