Oh, a pic for the safey council would be worth a thousand words – those parents who cross toddlers or push strollers into incoming traffic where oncoming vehicles have the right of way. The irony of the thoughtlessness of this crop of Hoboken parents can also be pointed out by showing the dog owner standing at the curb with his/her pet patiently waiting for the light to change.

Yes, the dog owner waiting patiently on the corner only because Fido is dropping a steamer……which wont ever be picked up. Totally worth a thousand words…[quote comment=”203550″]Oh, a pic for the safey council would be worth a thousand words – those parents who cross toddlers or push strollers into incoming traffic where oncoming vehicles have the right of way. That is not the crux of the matter..Its mostly the illegal nannys you can witness crossing 13th and hudson with the cell phone on one ear and pushing a kid with one hand..The morons fly by heading toward to and from the lipton bldg..Thats precious cargo in them stroolers..Not only nannys but anglos same..what is so important to chat about that can’t be done at home? I am willing to wager that the parents pay the fee for the cell phones for these irresponsible dolts..Parents don’t have a clue..Many of these nannys are good caring people but them and the anglo moms must look both ways before crossing the streets.. 😛 [quote comment=”203550″]Oh, a pic for the safey council would be worth a thousand words – those parents who cross toddlers or push strollers into incoming traffic where oncoming vehicles have the right of way. Don’t forget–in addition to the cell, the coffee/beverage, the moms that tie the dog leash to the stroller…As a parent with a young one, I can’t help but see the potential disaster waiting to happen in a city with honking horns and loud noises that can startle that dog… 😯

😆 Thanks, Ricardo. This is brilliant and could become a series as you add cellphones, Blackberries, etc!

This depiction is inaccurate. Solo stroller pushers in the wild are almost always seen with either a cell phone or sugary coffee drink pushed up to their maws.

looking forward to his 2nd cartoon depicting the mounds of dog crap all over our sidewalks, and the dog owners who are responsible.
