60 Second Review: The Taco Truck

2/1/2011:

Cure the Hoboken sandwich blues!

Sandwiches are one of Hoboken411’s favorite foods. However, there comes a time when even the delicious roast beef or chicken sandwiches you normally eat just become boring!

Want to know how to throw your sandwich routine for an exciting and tasty loop?

Swing by The Taco Truck (62 Newark Street) and get ready for a taste adventure!

The Taco Truck may be known for their tacos, salsas and extremely fresh ingredients – but I urge you to try the Tortas (Mexican Sandwiches).

I recently tried the Carnitas Micoacan – which is slow braised sweet pork with fresh cilantro, and served warm along with white onions, jalapenos, avocado and black bean spread. If this were one of my two words photo entries, it’d be: “Friggin’ Awesome!”

The perfect blend of spice, smoothness, “stick to your ribs” protein and flavor – the Tortas at The Taco Truck can become an addiction you’d be happy to suffer from enjoy.

One of the best $7 sandwiches in the Mile Square!

They’re amazing, especially the bread. Light and crispy. Definitely worth the trip.

Oh my God!!! If it tastes half as good as it looks I’m in. I just printed the picture you posted and that even tastes good. 🙂
