Mystery Hit and Run Specials in Hoboken!
The Hoboken Hit and Run damage continues!
Hoboken411 reader Joe woke up this morning to find his car as well as several others with substantial damage over on 8th street. He shares his woes below…
“Last night (Jan. 28th) around 8:30pm I parked my car near the corner of 8th and Clinton St., just across the street from the Hoboken High School on the South side of 8th st.
This morning (Jan. 29th) around 8:30a.m. when i go get my car, i found the back bumper and back right headlight shattered and dented. I looked across the street and saw the 2 cars that were parked there were in even worse shape from the same hit and run driver. As I investigated farther down the street, there were 2 other cars along the right side of the street that were either dented, scraped, or fenders ripped. My girlfriend took pictures of all the damage to the vehicles and I did report it to the Police. They filled out a report and sent me on my way–knowing there wouldn’t be anything to come out of that filed Police report.
If anyone witnessed it or knows of any further information, please let me know.”

Hoboken resident Steve received an unlucky welcome present when he arrived at his car parked at 11th and Willow yesterday:
“No way to prove it of course, but my best guess is plow damage. Regardless, a hit and run (no one left a “note” – ha!) on my car. It was parked on the corner for the last few days. Found it in the condition this morning.”
411 Note: I’ll say it again – we need a CSI:Hoboken!
