Play Rugby in Hoboken

rugby-sinatra-park.jpgHoboken Rugby has kicked off their spring season, and is looking for new members of all levels. Whether you are an experienced player interested in playing at a high standard, or completely new to the game, Hoboken Rugby has a place for you.

Officially the social arm of the Bombers Rugby Football Club, the Club offers members everything from social “touch” rugby, to the opportunity to compete at a Division 1 level against some of the best clubs in the country. The Club also sponsors a variety of social events in and around Hoboken throughout the year.

Said Club President Tim Skennion, “with so many recent college graduates and foreign- born professionals living in Hoboken and the surrounding area, we wanted to provide the opportunity for rugby enthusiasts to maintain an interest in the game locally, whether from a social standpoint or by actively participating at a competitive level.”

Founded in 1989, the Club boasts over 75 active members from 10 countries, most of whom now call the Mile Square city home.

Training sessions run on Sunday afternoons from 1:00-3:00, and Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:30 at Sinatra Park. All are welcome. Prospective members can visit www.hobokenrugby.com for more information or email mgrealy73@hotmail.com.

FYI honcho, it just so happens I am a natural born American, I just happen to be an honest one, not an obnoxious one! I have however done a good amount of traveling and it’s easy to see why so many countries aren’t crazy about us. You can be from the greatest country in the world without being a pompous ass or a homophobe, and no stupid, I’m not gay, nor a drunk.

Hey jigger…Americans can’t help it if they’re superior….

as Carrie Cavello would say DWI …. deal with it!!!!

In the meantime stop trying to promote a triple G GGG gay gaelic game …. in a primarily italian town on Superball weekend!!!!

Stick to brewing Guinness, making cheese, and distilling that 2nd rate whiskey (irish) that I buy when the liquor stores out of a real drink like scotch!!!!

And yes I know none of the softball or soccer or hockey players in this town go to the bars after games. You know the bars I mean, the ones who pay for the uniforms and entry fees for these studs!!

Have any of you every watched a baseball game or a football game where the players jump all over each other and slap each other on the ass??? Stop and reread some of these posts and it’s easy to see exactly who thinks they are so much better than the rest of the world and while you’re at it do a little research and find out just exactly what countries are third world.
