Possible Gas Main leak on Adams Street
If it’s not Water Main Breaks in Hoboken – it’s something else leaking, breaking, or sinking.
Hoboken Fire Department has been busy for over the past hour near 606/607 Adams Street on reports of a heavy odor of natural gas. They evacuated and searched the suspected buildings, but have been unable to locate the exact source of the leak.
PSE&G is also on scene – and recently said it may actually be a leak from a gas main that supplies area buildings.
Hope it doesn’t blow!

Looks like this job will be an all-nighter. PSE&G now reports the street will have to be dug up while they search for the source of the leak. That may affect nearby residents who had gas connections.
