Is this place going to be like other websites where stating a non-complimentary opinion will be frowned upon? Someone named Potatochip doesn’t think the f’ing cookies are all that great. Other people like them. Who cares?

I have no idea if Mike’s wife’s cookies are good, but the name is annoying. Is that all right to state or will wives of Mikes everywhere band together to argue this inane point as well?
To be honest, most of you in this thread were not nice. The cookies were EXCELLENT, some of my Italian relatives even said they were better than their own cookies. That should tell you something! I have read enough of the slander and felt the need to actually waste my time and sign up for an account to reply to you losers.

Get a life and stop wasting yours on investigating NJ laws. Maybe you should be a lawyer?

PotatoChip…maybe you should continue to shove those old bay chips up your ass and leave the tasty cookies to me!!!

And NO…I am not the owner of MikesWifesCookies and I do not even know who is…

Give them a break already. This is ridiculous.
So we are losers for stating our opinions but you aren’t for stating yours?
Makes sense to me….

First of all I know she no longer bakes out of her home. It just started that way like any other hobby. The cookies are also nice and big and not to mention excellent. I’ve had great experiences with Mike’s Wife’s Cookies. 😀
What does NJ law say about using your home kitchen for commercial purposes? In many states you can bake items for sale in your kitchen but first the health department has to inspect it. Also, you will be expected to follow the same guidelines that restaurants have to follow and sometimes have to purchase commercial-grade appliances. Plus, like restaurants you have to expect unannounced inspections. So it would be interesting to find out if “Mike’s Wife” has all the proper permits to do this…
The Hoboken Health department says it’s against the law…
