Catch of the Day

Took this picture last week and was cleaning out the inbox today. Seems like this “sale” ended yesterday. Anyone ever go to this vintage furnishings shop?

Does “Inventory Clearance Sale” mean they’re just having a sale? Or becoming doomed?

I love this store and the owner, Sharon, is a very kind woman. I bought a number of items over the years. Before my daughter was born, I bought a child’s dresser from her and she helped my husband carry it the two blocks to our apartment and carry it up the one flight of stairs. After my daughter was born, I brought her by the store to thank her again. She gave me a vintage baby dress as a baby present. Look for her on the weekends or during the day sometimes during the work week.

Bought a FANTASTIC antique desk there. Thing was, I figured she owned the building seeing she was only open every third solar eclipse!!
I tried to go there several times and its never open. One time I caught the owner while she was at the store (but it wasn’t open) and she let me look around, but it was like I was doing her a disservice.
I live around the corner design_chick. I feel the same way. Her stuff is overpriced, that green color is horrible, and yea – she isn’t the friendliest person I have ever met. I did help her one day move something because it looked heavy and she was pretty thankful for that (because several men had walked past not offering to help) maybe it is just that she has sort of a flat personality, but again, the stuff is ridiculously overpriced! I rarely go in, but when she has stuff outside, I take a quick peek.

I doubt she is going out of business, she has signs up all over town every weekend pretty much, trying to drum up business.
