Limelight Floral Design moves back home (to Europe)

This business update was so dramatic, that it took us two months to actually find the emotional strength to share.

Limelight Floral Designs Hoboken NJ doomed

Back to the motherland

Just over three years after landing at 519 Adams St., the owner of Limelight Floral Design packed her bags and moved back to Europe.

I can only imagine how devastating this was to all the NYC tri-state area brides. How will they find flowers for their wedding or party now?

But this space is “for sale,” and hopefully a brave new floral designer can muster up the courage to perhaps fill these (next-to-impossible to fill) shoes.

Limelight Floral Design: 519 Adams Street

A big Hoboken welcome to Ella Myer and Limelight Floral Design, which just opened up shop at 519 Adams Street.

Myer, who spent the last five years serving clients through her floral design studio, decided to open up a street-level shop to the public. Open seven days a week, Limelight Floral Design is happy to help any customer no matter how big or small the job.

“We aim to serve every person that walks into our store because everybody deserves fresh, long lasting flowers and a smile. Whether our customers decide to spend $30 on a bouquet of seasonal blooms or $130 on a full blown deluxe design, all Hobokenites are invited to step in, exchange opinions on orchid light, cactus watering or which cut flowers last the longest in a vase.”

You can see some of their work at the official Limelight website or blog.

Can’t say I’m surprised.

How can you stay in business if you are never open and do not return phone calls or emails?

They were too busy with the European real estate agent to call you back.
