12:00pm:
Near or at the Iglesia Damasco Pentecostal. Some fire in the basement in the rear of the building. Jersey city and two other Hoboken companies on scene or en route. A south side interior wall was reported to have collapsed. North Hudson and Jersey City have also helped by re-routing some of their trucks to Hoboken stations just in case they’re needed elsewhere.

It’s classified as a “4 story frame plus one story church next door”.

Fire is now successfully out. Update: Apparently still heavy smoke conditions as of 12:14pm. Anyone in the area that may have witnessed and snapped photo, please send it in.

So far, reader “hot foot” was able to send some pics in. He lives right behind the building. More pics below.

ATT is where Noone/Potatochip first began driving people out of their minds.

what is with you and ATT? who are you? do I know you? if you keep replying in such a sadistic manner to my posts I will request that you are banned. you have serious mental problems and I suggest you get help.

if you have a personal beef with me, get my email from 411 and stop boring these people with your banter.

Judging by the report of this being an old, unrenovated building, could be anything… All it takes is one blown fuse and a spark in the basement for a place to go up in flames…
I know my place is like a tinderbox – I’m terrified of how quickly it would burn to the ground if there were a fire.. All that century old wood framing nice and dry to burn right up…

That’s the worst news I’ve heard all day. I was going to tell all of her old “friends” from ATT that she had blissfully and ignorantly passed on to that big Short Hills Mall in the sky.
