I love used book stores. I like the atmosphere here and found it cool that the shelves had braille labels.
I lucked out and they had two books I could use right away. An English/Cymraeg dictionary and copy of Welsh in 3 months.
Pob hwyl! (A Welsh farewell that means basically have lots of fun.)

Yes, but how do you say that about frat boys? (not all frat boys just the ones that can’t drink and think).

i would patronize this bookstore more if they’d take down the Dave Roberts bl*wjob poster in the front. (The one in the photo above has been replaced with a smaller one, but STILL). I mean, who actually thanks their landlord so publicly and actually MEANS IT? The only landlord worth thanking is the one that rents a space out FOR FREE. So if someone wants to tell me that Symposia pays NO RENT, then I can stomach the sign and will gladly shop there again. It just looks like they are prostituting themselves in the WORST WAY which is why its impossible for me to go in there.
But don’t get me wrong I do love used books, but this store’s windows take USED to a whole new level!

Is this the only place to donate used books? I have a ton of hardbacks and paperbacks, and I don’t know why I am holding onto them (or the bookshelf taking up room!)

OK, Symposia, you don’t have to suck up to Roberts anymore! He’s gone! Take down the sign and some of us will think about shopping there again.
